It's finally here. We at Sabellar wanted to introduce a jumper in our product collections and we couldn't have found a better partner than L'Envers. We met Julie, the founder of L'Envers, through Instagram. From this social network we began to interact, share lessons and experiences -and some frustrations- about our respective projects... And the idea of creating something together didn't take long to come up.
It was clear to both of us that we wanted our jumper to be inspired by those worn by the Irish fishermen of the island of Aran to protect themselves from the cold, with a thick knitted fabric and a traditional cable pattern. From there, we modernized it with an extra volume in the sleeves and shortened its length to wear it with high waist pants.
Paola, as we’ve named this beautiful jumper, is a 100% Spanish product (except for the fact that Julie is a Frenchwoman who lives in Madrid!). Each one is made with 1kg of merino wool, a particularly elastic, light and resistant wool, which does not itch and insulates very well in cold winters.
There is an enormous work behind the Paola jumper: six months of sketches, prototypes, retouching, manufacturing and dozens of meetings. Nuria's workshop, in Barcelona, has been in charge of transforming those designs into a real live product. Her family business was born in 1980 next to Barcelona. Today is headed up by the 2nd generation: Nuria, the founder's daughter, and her husband drive the activities of the workshop alongside their six employees. They all share an acute attention to detail and a quest for excellence.

Length from top shoulder to bottom hem: 52. Width from side to side at chest level: 52 cm.

Heigh of model: 162 cm. She usually wears S size tops.

Think about the planet! Make sure your clothes really need to be washed. Unlike cotton and synthetic fabrics, wool does not need to be washed often. Just air your clothes after wearing them.

If the jumper really needs to be washed, we recommend washing by hand in cold water or 30° C maximum. No chlorine. Do not tumble dry. No professional dry-cleaning. We do not recommend traditional machine wash. Never hang up your wet woolen clothes, let them dry flat on a towel so that they regain their original shape. Iron to a maximum iron sole temperature of 110° C.

To store your jumpers it is advisable to fold them so they keep their shape. Woolen garments must not be hanged because the wool could lose its shape. Fold them and store them in a space with a moth-repeller.
